The National Monuments Service's description

Granite stone with sub-rectangular cross-section (H 1.4m; girth 2.3m; 5 grooves). Now lying against field bank. According to local information recorded by Price (1938/39, Notebook 17), skulls found during digging of ditches in vicinity. The stone was aligned E-W in its original location (CW004-001001-).
