The following description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Carlow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1993). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.

Present remains consist of poorly constructed and derelict mausoleum, probably incorporating parts of chancel of featureless earlier structure, including N wall. Of randomly coursed limestone on slight rise in graveyard. Architectural fragments in graveyard (CW002-007002-) include ogival window heads, jambs and arch stones, granite base and parts of late medieval basin of font.
