The National Monuments Service's description

Standing against a stone wall on E side of road and obscured by dense growth of vegetation. Locally known as the 'Cat's Cross'. A plain wayside cross (H c. 0.5m) with imperforate ring (diam c. 0.4m) set in socketed base slab. Left arm (L 0.15m) intact and right arm broken off. (Davies 1948, 80)
