The National Monuments Service's description

Davies (ITA Survey 1940; Davies 1948, 81) noted the foundations of a small church at the SE end of a rectangular, graveyard. He also recorded a cross-slab (CV026-014003-) in the graveyard and suggested that the decorated pillar stone at the Denn Glebe Church of Ireland chapel (CV026-026002-), 1200m to NE, originated from here. Outside the perimeter at SW are two holy wells (CV026-014005-). Densely overgrown with vegetation.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cavan' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1995). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
