The National Monuments Service's description
An earlier report (OPW 1970) described a raised circular area (int. diam. 39m) enclosed by a bank which has been levelled, except at E where it is incorporated into the field boundary, and an external fosse. Original entrance not recognisable.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cavan' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1995). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
