The National Monuments Service's description
At Drumbess graveyard. Inside the perimeter at NE is a small circular area (int. diam.1.2m) enclosed by a low drystone wall (H 0.2m). This represents the site of the well which has been blocked up.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cavan' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1995). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
