The National Monuments Service's description
Pre-development testing in 2003 revealed a burnt mound (L 16m, Wth 8m, T 0.5m) on the east shore of a silted up lake. It sloped downwards to the E, N and S.It was composed of burnt and shattered stone. There was no sign of a trough (Gilmore, S. 2003, 20)
