The National Monuments Service's description

Situated about 230m S of Garvagh Lough on poor, rocky land. A polygonal chamber stands at the W end of an overgrown cairn. It measures 3.4m long by 2.5m in maximum width. The opposed stones at its open NE end function as imbricated segmenting jambs. In front of the polygonal chamber two orthostats represent the NW side of a second chamber, 3m long. These have become visible in recent years and are not on the published plan of the site (de Valera and Ó Nualláin 1972). Towards the NE a number of large slabs rise from the surface of the cairn. Their relationship to the gallery is unclear. (de Valera and Ó Nualláin 1972, 112, No. 11)
