The National Monuments Service's description

In rough grazing between ridges of rock outcrop. Semi-circular mound (9.7m N-S; 6m E-W; H 0.4m) of burnt material with central stone-lined trough (0.98m E-W; 0.92m N-S; D 0.18m). Trough surrounded by roughly pentagonal setting of twelve orthostats (max. dims. H 1.56m; 1.2m; 0.1m). Pile of field clearance stones at E side mound; adjacent field fence to W.
