The National Monuments Service's description

On brow of hill, on W side of Lough Hyne; in field fence marking townland boundary. Rock outcrop, overlooking cupmarked standing stone (CO150-028002-); decorated with eleven cupmarks (max. diam. 0.07m) and an L-shaped depression.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
