The National Monuments Service's description
In a fern-covered hollow, on the rough NW-facing slopes of a NE-SW rocky ridge overlooking Dunmanus Bay. The remains of a roughly square hut site (3.2m E-W; 2.9m N-S) defined by a jumbled drystone wall (T 0.5m; H 0.2-0.65m), parts of which display upright slabs. The interior is obscured by rubble and ferns.
The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 5' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
