The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on N-facing slope. Circular area (20m N-S; 22m E-W) enclosed by earth and stone bank (H 2m) E->WNW; scarp (H 1.2m) WNW->E; silted-up external fosse to SE. Bank stone-faced on inside; incorporated into field fence system. Scarp topped by low earth and stone field fence WNW->N. Cultivation ridges cross interior on NNE->SSE axis; raised on N side to compensate for hillslope.
