The National Monuments Service's description
Substantial multiperiod mill, built into natural slope, overlooking tidal inlet of Castlehaven estuary. Rectangular 5-storey mill building with projection to NNW. Turbine replaced water wheel, still in situ (inaccessible). Pair of early Crossley Bros. Diesel engines replaced turbine, still operable. Mill now produces cattle feed. (Numerous pieces of mill furniture within structure). Millers house stands to E.
