The National Monuments Service's description

On natural rise in rolling pasture. Circular, slightly raised enclosure (32m N-S; 30m E-W) defined by earthen bank (H 2.4m); external fosse (D 1m); possible counterscarp bank SW->SE (H 1m). Bank heavily overgrown; stone-faced in parts. Entrance to S (Wth 6m).
