The National Monuments Service's description

A 'cave' which was discovered 'by chance' and subsequently closed was recorded in the townland of Hollyhill (OSNB). Local enquiries failed to get any information about this possible souterrain. Its precise location is not known. There is another souterrain (CO141-059----) in this townland.

The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 5' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
