The National Monuments Service's description

Listed as a ‘potential site – aerial photo’ in the SMR (1988) and as a ‘non-antiquity’ in the RMP (1998). Depicted as a quarry on the 1944 OS 6-inch map. When inspected in 1989, the field had been levelled and there was not sufficient evidence to warrant accepting this as the location of an archaeological monument.
