The National Monuments Service's description

Information on this monument supplied by William Casey on 2 April 2013. He describes a 'local tradition that says a cillin was located in a field at the north of Ardura Beg. It was located in a field to the south of the Skibbereen to Ballydehob road. The modern N71 road passed over the site.'
