The National Monuments Service's description
Abutting E wall of Union Workhouse (CO139-040001-) enclosing wall. Shown as sub-triangular field on OS 6-inch map (1901). Total of forty-two uninscribed gravemarkers concentrated in S half of field. Known locally to be burial place of famine victims and inmates of nearby workhouse.
