The National Monuments Service's description
At head of narrow inlet overlooking Dunworley Bay; two storey remains of rectangular tower house (int. 6.6m N-S; c. 5m E-W) at SW corner of 19th century Rock Cottage farmyard. Converted to farmbuilding with many alterations; original features include thick walls with external base batter; narrow splayed window and rectangular corner tower (int. 1.52m N-S; 1.18m E-W; wall thickness 0.41m) on SE corner with remains of wicker centred vault (long axis N-S) over 1st floor.
