The National Monuments Service's description
In a ploughed field on level terrain, immediately to the SW of Clonakilty town. A circular spread of black soil and heat shattered stone visible on the SE side of a field and townland bounday (Miles townland). The levelled fulacht fia is on the bank of a stream which runs alongside the field boundary.
