The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on a S-facing slope in an area of undulating farmland. A possible oval enclosure is visible as the cropmark of a fosse SSE-N in an aerial photograph (CUCAP, AVL 50) taken in 1968. Visible in the same photograph are traces of another cropmark of a fosse NNE-S, immediately to the NE which may represent another possible enclosure or an annexe. There are no visible remains of any enclosure.
The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 5' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
