The National Monuments Service's description
On level pasture overlooking stream to SW. Rectangular area (39m NW-SE; 28m NE-SW) enclosed by single earthen bank (H 1.7m) with shallow external fosse. Major break (Wth 4.6m) in bank at E; numerous cattle breaks elsewhere. Surface of interior uneven, with large shallow depression on E side.
