The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on the S-facing slopes of an E-W ridge. The arc of a farm roadway (L c. 80m) curves SW-N to the W of a souterrain (CO134-112001-). The outer arc of the roadway is delineated by an earthen bank with stone inclusions (Wth varies up to 4m; H up to 2m). It is largely obscured with overgrowth and displays intermittent traces of a recent stone wall along its inner face. The passage (Wth c. 5m) is in occasional use and the remains of an inner low bank are topped with an electric fence. The curving bank or banks delineating the road may incorporate the bank or banks of a rath associated with the souterrain (CO134-112001-).

The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 5' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
