The National Monuments Service's description
According to correspondence dating to 1939, a possible cairn stood in 'Drinaglough' near Ballydehob (SMR file). As there is no townland of that name in the area, it is presumed that the writer was referring to the townland of Dereennaclogh, to the N of Ballydehob. The correspondent also mentions the occurrence of two possible stone rows (CO131-065----, CO131-067----) in the area. The exact location of this possible cairn is unknown.
The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 5' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
