The National Monuments Service's description

In level pasture, beside the N shore of Ballydonegan Bay. A circular raised area (11.7m N-S; 11.4m E-W; H 1.2m above outer ground level) is defined by a scarp (H 1.2m) with a low earthen bank (Wth 2.7m; int. H 0.3m) at WSW, NW-NE and SE-SSE along the top of the perimeter. Part of the SW arc is damaged and contains grass-covered upcast and a short section of the S arc is truncated by the E-W wall of an old road at S.
