The National Monuments Service's description
In rough hill pasture, on the NW-facing slopes of Dursey Island. A D-shaped area (18m NW-SE) with the straight side at SE (L 37m) is defined by the face of a linear outcropping rock at SE and elsewhere by the remains of a heather-covered earthen bank (Wth up to 1.5m; H 0.5m), from which upright stones (H 0.8m) protrude intermittently along its N-NE arc. There are occasional sheep-gaps in the bank. There is a hut site (CO126-042002-) in the SE portion of the interior.
The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 5' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
