The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on a S-facing hillslope overlooking Crow Head. The remains of a circular hut site (diam. 5m) defined by a partially eroded, gorse-covered, earthen bank (Wth 1.5m; H 0.8m). There are several cattle-breaks in the bank which stands to varying heights. The level partially obscured interior is raised (H 0.7m) at the S and cut (D 0.4m) into the upslope at the N to compensate for the hillslope. Another hut site (CO126-033001-) is c. 40m to the SW and a standing stone (CO126-033003-) is c. 100m to the SSE.
The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 5' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
