The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on a slight elevation beside the rocky seashore on the SE-facing slopes of a small island, Ilanebeg, overlooking Dursey Sound. The sod-covered remains of a rectangular hut site (5m E-W; 2.8m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 0.9m; H 0.35m). A sheep path cuts through and has damaged the N and S banks of the hut site. There is a hut site (CO126-030001-) c. 14m to the NE and another (CO126-030007-) is c. 15m to the W. (Breen 2003b; 2006, 36)
