The National Monuments Service's description
On E side of Kilmichael church (CO126-009002-) is area known locally as "burial ground". Series of thin upright slabs, (H c. 0.45m; c. 0.4m; c. 0.16m) set in roughly parallel lines. Trackway cuts through N end of area.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
