The National Monuments Service's description
According to local information, there was a standing stone in this townland. It is referred to in the Schools Folklore Manuscripts (1930s) by a local girl. However, local enquiries failed to identify the location of the possible standing stone.
The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 5' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
