The National Monuments Service's description

In NE quadrant of graveyard (CO123-022002-) ruins of parish church (L c. 16m, Wth 6m). Only sod-covered foundations survive except W gable and short return of S wall. Church in repair in 1615 but in ruins by 1699 (Brady 1863, vol. 1, 133-4).

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
