The National Monuments Service's description

In arable land on E face of NE-SW ridge. Oval, slightly raised area (24m N-S; 36m E-W) enclosed by earth and stone bank (H 1.8m), with external fosse (D 1.2m). Entrance (Wth 3.5m) with causeway to SW. Cattle break to NE.
