The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on S facing slope overlooking the Owenkeagh river. Circular area (20m N-S; 23m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (H 1.1m); raised on S side to compensate for hillslope. Interior covered by E-W lines of field clearance stones. Surrounding field fences removed.
