The National Monuments Service's description

Quadrangular setting of four stones in pasture on E-facing slope. Two stones to S, 2.3m apart, incorporated into N side of field fence: E stone (H 1.1m; 0.8m x 0.1m); W stone (H 0.6m; 1.1m). Third stone (H 1m; 0.75m x 0.4m) 1m N of, and parallel to, E stone. Fourth stone (H 0.85m; 0.9m x 0.35m) 1.4m N of, and parallel to W stone.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
