The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture on NW-facing slope. Heavily overgrown circular enclosure (diam. c. 40m), defined by earthen bank (H 2.5m), with possible external stone facing to NW; external fosse to NE. Access to interior not gained due to overgrowth. According to O'Leary (1975, 12) 'cloghan-type structure built of stone and shaped like a beehive', above entrance to souterrain (CO121-014002-); named 'Cloghaun' on both editions of the OS 6-inch map.
