The National Monuments Service's description

A possible standing stone (36" [0.91m] x 53" [1.35m] x 30" [0.76m]) was recorded at this location in the 1990s (SMR file). It was described as being rectangular in plan and orientated N-S. A subsequent search of the area failed to locate the possible standing following extensive field clearance.

The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 5' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
