The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on a break on a NW-facing slope. A roughly triangular slightly raised area (30m NE-SW; projecting c. 30m to NW; max. H 0.3m), largely covered by bushes and briars. A rough arrangement of grass-covered stones is visible mainly along the N and NE sides. Plain uninscribed stone grave-markers are visible in the interior, which is inaccessible due to overgrowth. It is known locally as a 'cillíneach or killeen'. There is a standing stone (CO119-103002-) immediately outside the SW corner of the burial ground. A possible standing stone (CO119-103----) formerly stood 4m to the W of this.
The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 5' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
