The National Monuments Service's description

On small level area of moorland on NE side of saddle between Sprat Hill and Knockaveagh. Stone circle (CO118-044002-) 5.5m to N. NE stone, aligned NNE-SSW is 1.25m L, 0.45m T and 2.2m H. SW stone is prostrate; it measures 3.3m x 1.4m and is 0.4m T. (Ó Nualláin 1984, 42, no. 85; 1988, 247, no. 126).

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
