The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on S-facing slope. Two small upright stones; 3.4m apart; aligned approximately N-S. Most northerly stone (H 1.04m; 1m x 0.55m) roughly rectangular in plan; second stone (H 0.96m; 0.7m x 0.42m).

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
