The National Monuments Service's description
In rough pasture, on a rocky terrace on the lower SE-facing slopes of Eagle Hill. The remains of a roughly circular hut site (diam. 2.6m) defined by the lower courses of a roughly constructed drystone wall (T 0.6m; H 0.5m), the base stones of which protrude above the surface of the bog. Outcropping rock is incorporated into the wall at the W and the interior is level. Another hut site (CO115-149002-) is 5m to the S.
The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 5' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
