The National Monuments Service's description
On rough hill grazing, on a mantle of blanket bog, some of which is cutaway, on a S-facing slope. The remains of a roughly circular hut site (diam. 6.5m) defined by a grassy bank (Wth 1.4m; H 0.3m) WNW-SSW through which the base row of a stone wall protrudes. Elsewhere, the bank and stones are indistinct SSW-WNW. Uncut bog may obscure or have removed the enclosing element in this area.
The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 5' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
