The National Monuments Service's description
In rough hill pasture, in an area of cutaway bog on an E-facing slope and within a network of pre-bog field boundaries (CO115-106004-). The remains of a circular hut site (6.4m E-W; 6m N-S) defined by traces of an inner and outer row of contiguous upright slabs (T 1.1m; H 0.1-0.85m) with a sod-covered infill of smaller stones and earth. The enclosing element is best preserved along the SW-NE arc. A break (Wth 0.8m) at the SE may indicate the entrance location. A cairn (CO115-106008-) is c. 25m to the NE.
The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 5' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
