The National Monuments Service's description
In rough hill pasture, on a SW-facing slope overlooking Castletownbere and Berehaven Harbour. This standing stone (1.45m x 0.55m; H 1.4m) is diamond-shaped in plan and is orientated NE-SW. The upper portion of the stone narrows towards the top.
