The National Monuments Service's description
In rough pasture, on cutaway bog, in the saddle to E of Eagle Hill. Turf-cutting has exposed the remains of collapsed, relict, stone field boundaries (T 0.6m; H 0.3m) that are set on the underlying mineral soil. The mainly curvilinear relict walls run intermittently in a general NW-SE direction across the saddle for c. 160m.
The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 5' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
