The National Monuments Service's description

In rough undulating hill pasture, within a network of relict field boundaries (CO115-060----) on a SW-facing slope in the Cloontreem valley. A circular area (diam. 10.4m) is defined W-E by the remains of a low earthen bank (Wth 0.8m; H 0.2m) from which the tops of stones protrude intermittently, and by intermittent traces of the bank E-W. The interior slopes down to the SW.

The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 5' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
