The National Monuments Service's description

In rough hill pasture, in a N-S hollow sheltered by ridges of gorse-covered outcropping rock, on a S-facing slope. The remains of a D-shaped hut site (2.1m N-S) defined by the disturbed lower courses of a drystone wall (T 0.45m; H 0.35) with a straight S side (L 3.2m). The interior is raised (H 0.4m) at the S and cut (D 0.2m) into the upslope at the N to compensate for the hillslope. Rubble obscures the interior of the hut site.

The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 5' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
