The National Monuments Service's description
Nineteenth century mining complex on foot hills overlooking Allihies to SW and overlooked by mining complex (CO114-02701-) to NW; comprising engine house and mining structure. Three storey engine house gabled to N; beam support wall to S. Stone built chimney (H c. 24m) on NE corner; circular in plan; upper courses of brick. Remains of structure (8.15m N-S; 5.8m E-W) project from S elevation. Partially collapsed single-storey L-shaped structure (17.7m N-W; 6.7m E-W) c. 30m SW of engine house.
