The National Monuments Service's description
Roadside, at Nohoval cove. Unusually ornate kiln. Front S-facing; arched recess (H 2.2m; Wth 3.85m), sloping slabs to rear protected by roofless lean-to. E elevation has central breakfront with a niche on either side. Top of kiln enclosed by castellated wall with oculus on E side. Funnel (diam. c. 2m). Ramp on N side.
