The National Monuments Service's description
On E side of Oyster Haven, to N of road; sub-rectangular graveyard (c. 40m E-W; c. 20m N-S) enclosed by stone wall to S, elsewhere by earthen bank. Inscribed plaque on gate pillar reads 'Revdus. Renaldus / Hurly hoc /Presidium / mortuorum / fieri fecit / Anno Domini / 1783' (Brunicardi 1913,45; Henchion 1987, 113; see also CO112-01301- & CO112-00501-). In occasional use; Henchion (ibid, 113-7) records only 9 inscribed headstones, the earliest dated 1763; many low uninscribed grave markers. In SW corner overgrown ruin of 'watch house' (Brunicardi ibid.). At centre, ruins of Kilmonoge parish church (CO112-04202-).
