The National Monuments Service's description

Early 19th century 2-storey house over basement, overlooking Bandon River to S. Entrance front (E) of 3 bays; basement not visible; off-centre door with engaged Ionic columns supporting semi-circular fanlight; steps up to door. River front (S) of 5 bays joined by curved curtain walls to 2-bay, 2-storey wings now in ruins. Roof hipped with central valley. Date stone 'W.V.B. 1815' over stairway window in N elevation. Farm buildings to N.
